Danish 1940s Banana Style Curved Tub Club Chair with Channel Back in Red Mohair
About the Item
This supercool 1940s Danish curved club chair is actually a match to the Danish curved or banana form sofas made in the 1930s-1940s. The sofas and chairs were very popular coming out of the 1930s and into the early 1940s inspired by the Art Deco period. This chair has really nice elegant lines and we love the combination of the velvet fabric with the channels in the back. The padding and springs in the seat remains nice and soft yet supportive and the chair is in overall very good condition although we recommend having it reupholstered. We are able to re-upholster the chair in lambswool or with your own fabric at a very competitive price.
