Ideal collectors pieces, this set of matched armchairs are signed with early production AI (Atelier International) labels and stamped on the frames with Cassina production details and are sought after examples of this design for collectors and interior designers alike. *Note, we had a set of four chairs but have sold one. The LC3 was designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier; his cousin and colleague Pierre Jeanneret; and Charlotte Perriand. Produced by Cassina from 1965 to 2011 and early production models, such as the examples in this listing, distributed by AI (Atelier International), this set retains their original AI labels and are signed on the frames as shown in the photographs with Cassina's logo and production number embossing. This style of signature is unique to the earlier years of the design and therefore this set is much more collectible and valuable to collectors and art / design investors than newer examples.
