A room-defining pair of large-scale vintage club Emperor's chairs designed by Peter Rocchia for his Wicker Works firm, circa 1990. Stout, exceptional rattan construction with a fabulous scallop detail accenting the back and sides. Leather joint bindings finished in chocolate. Exquisite statement pieces that will serve as an anchor for an important room. Excellent restored condition. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish demonstrates a beautiful tone, depth and luster. All leather bindings are intact and complete. Upholstered in a fine neutral textured Larsen fabric. The original upholstery (replaced) bore the label "Peter Rocchia for Wicker Works 1992". Expert custom upholstery service is available.
