About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning handmade in Holland buffalo leather club armchair with Tuscan feather filled cushion A very good looking, well made and comfortable armchair in lovely vintage condition throughout, the leather is thick buffalo hide, it shows the natural patina of the hide so has a great look and feel to it. The legs are solid to the frame and not the cheap screw ins, the cushion has belts at the back for clasping it into place so it doesn’t move, the cushion filling is pretty much the most expensive on the market, it’s what’s called a split panel feather filled cushion, what that means is instead of having just one bag full of feathers which can move around, make dents and sag you have three bags, the main core is thick dense feathers, the top and bottom sections are lighter feathers for extra comfort, the feathers as mentioned are luxury Tuscan and the finest money can buy We have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the chair from top to bottom, it is without question one of the best around Dimensions: Height:- 90cm Width:- 82.5cm Depth:- 91cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
