English Chippendale Oak Splat Back Outset Corner Chair, Circa 1770
About the Item
English Chippendale oak corner chair with a carved molded centered edge, flanking carved splat backs, scrolled outset rounded arms, turned bulbous ringed columns and terminating on the original squared legs with connecting stretchers. Chair has the original wood seat frame and can be re-upholstered. All Pegged, Mortised & Tenon, Late 18th Century. Corner chair is 23 "Deep & 17." Wide on each frontal side with a seat height of 18" tall.
