Pair of Exceptional Chinese Rosewood Corner Chairs
About the Item
Pair of extremely finely carved rosewood armchairs, likely hongmu, featuring stunning iridescent grain. Horseshoe backs cradle well carved floral arrangements in vases, supported by offset legs and cross stretchers. One of the finest examples of traditional chinese joinery we have ever come across. Seat hight is 17" inches without cusions.
