About the Item

A 19th century daybed by Howard & Sons - London. Raised on 4 turned walnut legs with the original Stamped casters and the left back leg bearing the stock number 14325-2424. Expertly upholstered and retaining much of the original factory fillings. The seat has been fully restored with new springs with the original horsehair being reworked. The seat also boasts a new thick, comfortable feather and down seat cushion. We opted for the red striped H&S cotton lining for a more refined look. It's finished ready to use as is however if you would like a top cover of you choice this is something we can arrange. 55cm seat height
