Art Deco Daybed, KEM Weber for Lloyd, 1930s Streamline Industrial Design Original "steamer" chaise lounge or daybed by Lloyd Manufacturing Co, features stunning tubular bent chrome legs and dramatic Streamline, Machine Age, Art Deco and Moderne curves and design. In dark brown and butterscotch-colored vinyl with dark brown piping. Weber's first work for retailer Macy’s ushered in 'streamline' furniture design for the home. He was influenced by the early work of architect Mendelsohn, who designed streamline influenced architecture as early as 1920, and the Bauhaus tubular furniture.
