About

The Arielle daybed is often misattributed to Wim Rietveld but is actually by the hand of Dick Cordemeijer who started at Auping in 1953 and was responsible for their famous 'Cleopatra' daybed
In the early 1950s Auping was 'modernising' their production line and industrial designers like Andre Cordemeijer, Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld were attracted to come and work for them

The Arielle daybed has beautiful modernist features and we have made a new mattress in De Steppe Wool fabric with a Latex filled neck roll cushion made our of a soft vintage raw leather that even features the brandmark and scars in the leather from the animal

The legs can be folded in and out for easy transportation and installation
