Elegant, contemporary and functional the Ada Daybed is a sleeper sofa that can transform any room into a guest suite. The timeless design of this sofa allows it to fit comfortably in any setting no matter if your style is traditional or modern. Beautiful to look at and comfortable to lounge on, the Ada Daybed makes a perfect addition to your home office or spare room allowing it to quickly transform into a guest room. Handcrafted in solid wood, the frame features visible joinery throughout, creating a sculptural and intricate form that cleverly transforms from a sofa to a bed. Two mattresses, filled with all natural and traditional fillings such as eel grass, horsehair and down are fixed to the frame and neatly upholstered. The woolen fabric from Kjellerup Væveri (weaving mills) is produced in Denmark of the highest quality, providing depth, strength and comfort. Contrasting button colors add character and reflect the level of care and detail put into producing this sofa. All BACD Studio furniture is handmade to order in Copenhagen, Denmark. There are many unique combinations of wood and fabric to be considered - please reach out for custom inquiries. All of our products are made-to-order, therefore we cannot accept returns or refunds of purchased items. Our larger works will be custom crated & packed for shipping. Some of our smaller items can ship blanket wrapped in cardboard boxes. Please inquire within for quotes on these options and related costs.
