About the Item
Alma Cabinet is a minimalist cabinet designed by Copenhagen-based atelier BACD studio. The Alma cabinet is created from a vision of simple but good craftsmanship. Built from quality materials, the clean silhouette is made possible through thoughtful details. The Alma cabinet plays on the contrast between inside and out using material, color, light and shadow. The frame is constructed in solid hardwood with inset reeded glass – obscuring the view to add depth, as well as a curiosity. If the cabinet should be used as a conventional display case it is possible to use clear glass to exhibit objects. All hardware, including the custom door pulls and leveling feet, are made in solid unfinished brass which is allowed to patina over time. By combining different materials and colors it is possible to create many different visual expressions of the Alma cabinet.

The Alma Cabinet is highly customizable, including custom dimensions or materials. Customers can choose between several natural wood species or a variety of hand painted colors. The glass can either be reeded or clear. Crafted by hand in Copenhagen.
