Unique, hand-carved reclaimed wood bench with archival textile and handmade glass buttons. Seat cushion measures 5.75" inches high and is plush and comfortable. Designed by multi-hyphenate creative force Rafael Prieto, this one-of-a-kind bench is made up of a medley of materials - two solid blocks of reclaimed wood supporting a hand-carved reclaimed wood base, with a generously plush seat cushion upholstered in archival fabric (or client's choice of material) and finished with 3 unique hand-cast glass buttons. The base supports a steel section which has a hair on hide, removable cushion. The hide is a tan Nguni cow skin, the Nguni cow is a prized cow in the Royal families of KZN where the daybed is made.
