About the Item

A beautiful rare daybed made as a prototype by Gunnar Berggren & Yngve Ekström for Swedese in the 1970s. Crafted with a birchwood frame and chromed metal base, harmonizing the warmth of natural wood with the clean, precise lines of mid-century Scandinavian design. The reupholstered seat and neck cushion, in dusty rose with a subtle grey motif, provide both comfort and understated color. This collectible sculptural daybed will complement many interior styles. A Mid Century Modern, Bohemian, Classic, Scandinavian or an Art Deco home decor.
