1950’s Cox Tubular Metal Slatted Dining Chairs – Good Quantity Available 1950’s Cox Tubular Metal Slatted Dining Chairs – Good Quantity Available. Cox was one of the largest producers of tubular stacking chairs initially developed by the Bauhaus movement. These chairs are from the late 50’s. The frame is tubular metal and the seats are the original slatted birch wood. The dark burgundy/brown is a classic late Cox colour and the chairs are in superb condition, are practical for stacking, and are very comfortable. We service and wax each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. We specialise in high quality vintage dining chairs and have a large range. Seat Height 46cm. WORKSHOP REPORT Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
