1950's Original French Two Tone Chapel Dining Chairs - Large Quantity Available.
An incredible find we sourced these from a brutalist French 1950's Chapel outside Lille, we have over 200 of these available. These are the original chairs, designed and made for the chapel. Probably made by Bauman but not confirmed, the darker frame is made from oak and the seats and back are in birch. A strong comfortable chair with a double cross stretcher frame and tidy detail where the backs are pinned to the frames. Each chair passes through our workshop where it is serviced, cleaned and waxed. Seat Height: 47cm

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
