About the Item
1950’s Simple French Bistro Dining Chairs – Large Quantity Available.
The process of steam bending beech to create elegant chairs was discovered and developed by Thonet, but when its patents expired in 1869 many companies including Luterma launched production. These chairs date from the 1950’s and believed to be Luterma. A simple classic shape with a beautiful colour and elegant shaped backs with a lovely simple rod support across the mid back. We service and rejuvenate each chair before it leaves our workshop. Seat Height: 47cm

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
