1960s French Baumann Chrome Leg Bentwood Dining Chairs – Set Of Four. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child’s chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. In our view the chairs of the 50s and 60' are their best, beautifully made and designed. This is a Classic late sixties model in a clean beechwood, with chrome legs. Large comfortable bent back supports combine with padded seats. We have cleaned them, that?s all. If you want an uber stylish chair that you won?t see often this will hit the spot. Seat Height 47cm
