About the Item
Pickled rattan + rawhide leather chairs with smooth arched backs. Set of six includes four side chairs and two armchairs. Excellent overall condition with age wear as shown. No maker marks; attributed to Philippine production.
20.38ʺW × 18.25ʺD × 35.63ʺH with 18"H seats and 25.63"H arms
Lovely and uncommon set in sturdy construction. These date to the latter part of the 20th century and feature a light tone (aka pickled). The hand-woven rawhide leather has been created in a pleasing pattern that adds texture to the set, yet feels subdued and Minimalist. These would be beautiful around a marble tulip dining table, an oval teak Danish Modern table, or one with a glass top and travertine base for a clean, tone-on-tone aesthetic. A great, versatile set.
