About the Item

Centro Progetti Tecno, pair of stackable chairs model ‘Modus', nylon / plastic, aluminum, metal, Italy, 1970s Highly functional chairs designed by Centro Progetti Tecno that are part of the Modus seating system, the first project to initiate by CPT. The seat is executed in molded nylon, a material that is known for its strength and having minimal electrostatic qualities. Underneath the seat, a five-ray pillar support is attached. The shell is further supported by four tapered legs in aluminum which are based on a trapezoid shape, when seen from the side. The construction of the chairs allows you to stack the chairs. Centro Progetti Tecno (CPT) originated within Tecno as a separate institution that focused on industrial and communication design. Marco Fantoni was the leading figure supported by other principal colleagues in the company, such as Osvaldo & Valeria Borsani, Enrico Regondi, Kugo Toru, Signor Grassi, Roberto Davoli, and Eugenio Gerli. They strongly believed in team spirit and disguised putting the designer names on items. Therefore, all pieces of furniture created within Tecno be presented as the creation of the team. Kindly note that these items are in good, used condition and show signs of wear and use common for pieces this age.
