About the Item
The Japanese aesthetic canons mark the starting point in this exercise of formal synthesis. The lines that make up the volumes of the product are simplified to give rise to a very direct and structured design, in which the shape is strongly defined by the function of the chair itself.
The raised seat brings lightness to the product, and allows you to see how the product has been built. The soft curvature of the backrest contrasts with the straight-lined seat. This same thickness shares with the legs, becoming lines that draw the piece forcefully, which is accentuated in the version without upholstery. The upholstered version covers the design and gives it a warmer approach.
