About the Item

This made to order, limited edition, elegant and graceful, contemporary arm chair, constructed using an exotic figured walnut, cast bronze legs and an Italian white leather. It's creates a sculptural, fluid, contemporary design, that sits at ease in both classic and modern interiors. This extraordinarily unique design with it's sensuously curved, master crafted, organic back rest, that morphs into the arm rests will bring a statement of strength and power to any interior. The Palare chair is an eye catching, standalone sculpture and conversation piece or as a private club chair or conference chair. The woodwork of these extremely individual chairs is hand crafted by skilled master craftsman who have a great knowledge of traditional techniques and a profound understanding and respect for the managed forestry timbers that are carefully selected for the chair. In this particular model the sculptured, sensual back rest is fitted with an upholstered back pad that catches and supports the lower lumber creating a beautifully ergonomic seat. The bronze legs are created using high tech CNC machines and then polished to a very high standard. All fixings and bolts are A2 stainless steel covered with specially turned bronze caps. All upholstery is completed using traditional methods and top-quality materials. All the wood work is hand finished using five layers of natural oils. This allows the wood to breathe and encourages a natural oxidization/darkening of the timber. The chair bursts into life through the relationship of the tactile handcrafted timber with the high-tech Industrial style bronze legs and then the beautiful and sensuous Italian leather upholstery. We can only offer a small choice of exotic and sustainable timbers; mainly from the nut or fruit timbers of the UK and Europe. Walnut, Cherry, olive or even almond. For upholstery we recommend fabric, leather or Ostrich leather. The CNC cut bronze legs are cut from 25mm bronze plate and then hand polished to an extremely high standard.
