1. Product description: The “Viking” armchair is made of polished brass and high-end jacquard velvet which enhances the comfort of this piece. After smelting, a process known for thousands of years widely used in brass and bronze sculptures and precious metal works, a chemical process is used to oxidize the brass to an extreme level so it gets the black color on the seat structure. The golden details are hand-polished with patina on the backgrounds and protected with an anti-stain varnish to prevent oxidations. Bessa prides itself on creating handmade functional art furniture built to order by highly skilled Portuguese artisans. 2. Inspiration: The Viking chair was inspired by the Viking era. This piece recreates rustic shapes and textures that bring us back to a remarkable period of the medieval history. The Viking chair stands out for its innovative and sophisticated finishes that go beyond conventional decor pieces. 3. Product Dimensions: W 58cm (22.84"), H 90cm (35.44"), D 54cm (21.26") 4. Materials: Black oxidized brass, hand-polished brass with patina in the backgrounds, anti-stain varnish, jacquard velvet. Optional: - Fire retardant fabrics and foams - Waterproofing and anti-stain treatment for fabrics Note: All Bessa´s pieces can be customized upon request. 5.
