Dutch Set of Four Rustic Dining Chairs in Stained Wood and Cast Iron

About the Item

Set of four dining chairs, stained beech, cast iron, The Netherlands, 1970s. Rustic Dutch dining chairs made in the 1970s. This design in stained beech features a curved cast iron backrest support. Despite the sturdy look of the design, these chairs provide a comfortable seat due to the ergonomic friendly wooden 'seat saddle'. The backrest contains three wooden splats with a rounded shape on the top end. The black lacquered cast iron backrest holds these splats together. Tapered wooden legs complement these chairs.
