Early 20th century Chippendale Chairs, Solid wood of walnut, finely crafted, with upholstered seat in light damask fabric. Reproduction in 18th-century style, inspired by Rococo and Gothic influences The seat upholstery can be redone on request. Period:Early 20th century (reproduction in 18th-century style) Style:Chippendale (English, inspired by Rococo and Gothic influences) Materials: Solid wood of walnut, finely crafted, with upholstered seat in light damask fabric. Description:Chairs in the Chippendale style with a high pierced back featuring a shaped central splat with carved details. The front legs are carved with foliate motifs and end in classic lion paw feet, while the rear legs are plainer and gently curved backward. The rectangular seat is padded and upholstered in pale damask fabric with floral patterns. Construction Technique: Traditional joinery with mortise and tenon; hand-carved wood detailing. Condition: Good overall. Normal wear and patina on the wood due to age. Upholstery in good condition with minimal signs of use. Use: Ideal for traditional interiors, living rooms, studies, or dining rooms. Can be used as a desk chair or as part of a classic dining set.
