Beautiful set of 4 dining chairs, model J67 by designer Ejvind A. Johansson for FDB Møbler, made in smoked oak. The chair was designed in 1957, this set was produced in the early 1960s. All chairs have been inspected and are sturdy and stable, in very good vintage condition. One of four chairs shows slightly more traces of use. All chairs are stamped by the producer.

Early set of 6 Øresund model 537 dining chairs in oak and rush seats, designed by Børge Mogensen. Produced in Sweden by Karl Andersson & Söner.
The Danish designer Børge Mogensen designed a whole series of furniture aptly named after the Øresund bridge which connects Denmark and Sweden; referring to the collaboration between the Danish designer and Swedish furniture maker.
The quality of the chairs is truly stunning. Designed and crafted in the spirit of Shaker furniture, working to create heaven on earth. Key elements are functionalism, simplicity, quality craftsmanship, use of natural and local materials, proportion and balance, modesty and humility.
In essence a celebration of honest design, where form follows function, and beauty arises from simplicity, quality, and purposeful craftsmanship.
The chairs are in very good and original condition.
