Set of eight fully restored and refinished dining chairs in tanned oak with floating seats designed by Erik Buch for Oddense Maskinsnedkeri, 1960s
The chairs have a simple appealing construction that is becoming increasingly collectable and gives a very comfortable seating experience on the elegant floating seat.
The chairs have been fully restored - all joints on each chair checked and split apart if any signs of them getting loose - after 50 years of use -, reglued under pressure, sanded 2 - 3 times by hand, tanned with a dark brown color that make the wood glow in a variety of mahogany/rosewood like colors and revarnished in a way that enhance the woos structure of the oak to make sure that they are very good condition with only minimal signs of age and use and will be reupholstered by our skilled upholsteres and seamstress without additional cost in a variety of top quality fabrics of your choice from "Kvadrat" or "Romeo"/ standard leathers from "Sorensen Leather" or for additional price luxury fabrics / leathers.
The chairs are not beeing tanned before you place the order in order to make it possible for us to adjust the tanning and shine of varnish to your need.
