Extraordinary Set Of 12 Bronze X Slat Back Dining Chairs From Victoria Hagen
About the Item
A set of 12 beautifully made dining chairs with graceful bronze frames having an X slat back and custom upholstered seats. The chairs have good weight belying their stylish see through aspect and are quite comfortable. The patination is a brushed black allowing glimpses of the bronze and the frames have an interesting hammered pattern, arched supports and a swelling foot reminiscent of the furniture designs of Diego Giacometti. The removable seats are upholstered in a worn cow hide with various natural patterning in browns and white.
Dimensions:
Armchair 22.25” wide by 21.75” deep by 33.5” high. Seat height 18.75”. Arm height 24.75”.
Side Chair 17.5” wide by 17” deep by 34.5” high. Seat height 19.5”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include a few nicks and patina loss mentioned for accuracy. The seats are cow hide and have some wear and natural hair loss again mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is, as stated, extraordinary.
