Extremely Rare set 12 J & J Kohn Bentwood Bistro Dining Chairs

We are very pleased to be able to offer an extremely rare set of 12 Bentwood Bistro Dining Chairs by the renowned manufacturer J & J Kohn of Vienna Austria. Not only is a set of 12 impossible to find but also this is an extremely rare model that I have not seen before in 40 years and they are In wonderful condition. They are stamped J & J Kohn and bear their original paper label under the seat. They are all strong and sturdy and a very comfortable ergonomic design. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire the holy grail of bentwood bistro chairs and they are in really good original condition for the home. Height 91 cm Width 37 cm Depth 42 cm Seat Height 47 cm Jacob Kohn (1791–1866) together with his son Josef Kohn (1814–1884) founded the enterprise in 1849. Kohn would later rise to become one of the leading furniture makers in Austria-Hungary, becoming one of the leading competitors of Gebrüder Thonet.
