About the Item
The finely crafted set of 12 side chairs in particularly well grained carved walnut. With the classic Queen Ann shaped splats and carved crest rails with center palmettes and scrolled details. Raised on cabriole front legs with carved sides and square splayed back legs. The slip seats upholstered in a mottled dark green leather.
H. 38 1/2", W. 20", Depth 22', seat H. 20"
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age including minor acceptable age use and wear including a few nicks and rubs to the frames. There is some age and use wear to a few of the crest rails. crest rail and some finish losses to the upholstered seats as well as some fading, the set is a great candidate for re-upholstery. The seats with some crinkling, one with a small tear, small losses on two, slight scratches however the set presenting very well.
