A stunning set of six French Louis XVI dining chairs, sourced directly from Provence, France. Expertly handcrafted from solid maple wood, each chair boasts a carved shield-shaped back with a naturally aged dark patina. The set has undergone structural restoration to ensure long-term stability for daily use. Retaining their original green mohair velvet upholstery, the seats are clean-finished with a classic nailed trim. Gracefully tapered, fluted legs ending in toupie feet are accented by finely molded rosettes at the corners. Sturdy and stable, these chairs exemplify exceptional joinery and craftsmanship, embodying the timeless elegance of Louis XVI design.
