Vintage Louis dining or side chair with Ashley's portrait of Frida Kahlo printed on linen on the rear face, custom designed Ken Fulk upholstery on the seat and back, and espresso finished wood frame. Embroidered and appliqued VIII appears on the seat back, signed on the leg.
Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico.
