About the Item
Set of 8 exquisite Gustavian Klismos dining chairs by Niermann Weeks. Inspired by Grecian 18th century design, this Swedish style version is generously sized and features an aged textural plaster-like finish in a warm cream tone. The seat and backs are upholstered in a faux pale blue ostrich leather with polished nickel nail head trim detailing. Each chair is hand constructed of solid wood. The Klismos silhouette, distinguished by gracefully curved backrests and splayed legs - is a design rooted in ancient Greek aesthetics that was revived during the neoclassical period. A classic dining chair style that works perfectly in contemporary and traditional interiors.
Original Niermann Weeks manufacturer labels to underside of each chair. All Niermann Weeks furniture is Hand-Made and Hand-Finished in Maryland.
