Henry P. Glass Richbilt MFG Pearsall High Back Walnut Dining Armchairs Set of 4

About the Item

A set of four high back walnut dining chairs designed by Henry P. Glass for Richbilt Manufacturing of Cincinnati, Ohio. These chairs are commonly found unmarked and attributed for Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. I have mistakenly sold a set with that attribution. These chairs retain the original Richbilt Manufacturing paper labels which we had our upholsterer reattach to the underside of the seats. I do have photographs of the labels attached to the original upholstery. The design stands for itself, solid walnut and well made and classic Mid Century by a designer whose work is being rediscovered. We have the matching dining table in a separate listing.

Condition:

Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. The chairs are in very good condition with the original finish. The seats have been recovered in a gray Knoll fabric with fresh foam. The base of one arm has been repaired.
