About the Item
A set of 4 cantilever leather chairs with the typical Dittert wooden shells on the seat and backrest. The leather on all chairs is in excellent condition, the wooden shells on the backrests are mahogany colored and in exceptionally good condition. The chrome on the chairs is flawless and shines like it did on the first day. The chairs have armrests that are also padded. Overall, this is a set in a rarely found top condition.
This model was designed in the 1960s for Stoll Giroflex and reflects the spirit of the times in an impressive way. Stoll Giroflex is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office chairs since the 1890s and has become the leading office chair manufacturer in Switzerland. From 1977 onwards the company was known as Martin Stoll. This set was produced in the early 1990s. The industrial designer Prof. Karl Dittert designed several classics for Stoll Giroflex.
