Mid-Century Fritz Hansen Style Stacking Teak Toned School Chairs

About the Item

Mid-century, Fritz Hansen style auditorium chairs. This lot was originally used in a Dutch church. Design features single shell, pressed and bent teak slipper seats atop of a brown enameled metal tubular frame. Comes in two styles: With and without armrests, armrests are 27.75 inches high. When ordering please specify which of the two styles is preferred. Mixed quantities are also an option. Current count for each style is 29 without arms and 59 with arms. Chairs are in good original condition with age appropriate wear and have a lead time of 10 days.

    A timeless icon of design this wonderful set of eight model #3107 (also known as the "Series-7") stacking dining chairs in black were designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. This set are an early production model with a rarely seen registered and numbered metal CAP, April 1964. In the late 60’s Fritz Hansen then changed to the more commonly seen plastic stamped CAP. The CAP carries the Made in Denmark, the Danish Control FurnitureMakers emblem and the FH logo along with the year.
