About the Item

Stylish & sought after dining chairs, lovely rich solid teak chairs designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins with stunning grain complemented with black faux leather seat pads. Fresco range dining chairs. Stunning midcentury design. Very eye catching design in now once again great condition. The frames have ladder back rests with vertical supports in a contrasting lighter tone to the outer frame , squared off tapered legs and a wide comfortable seat . They have a wonderful solid teak frame with a nice grain to the wood and high slat backs. Seats are upholstered in black vinyl. The chairs sit on typical mid century style legs. The chairs are G Plan red label and they have their original sticker attached. These chairs would be a perfect match with any retro dining or kitchen table. Price is for set of 4. G Plan - E. Gomme Ltd were based in High Wycombe, England, a major centre of British furniture manufacturing. The company was renowned for there range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of furniture sets designed and made to match. Condition report: Very good condition Frames have been lightly polished with teak oil ready for use in the home. All chairs are structurally solid. Seat pads have been recovered with new black faux leather and are very comfy. There are minor signs of wear commensurate with age, some scuffs, marks and scratches, but these are barely noticeable.
