Mogens Lassen Beech Dining Table and Chairs in Beech for Fritz Hansen, 1960s
About the Item
A small dining set designed by Mogens Lassen. The set consist of 3 dining chair model FH 4216 and a matching table model FH 4626. The chair are constructed from solid Danish beech and all of them retains their original and matching paper-cord upholstery/weaving. The table, also made from solid beech, features a removable tabletop in grey formica/hard composite material. The table has been used extensively and its surface has worn in such a way that it almost looks like concrete or granit. All the piece were made in 1963 and has been together since. The Fritz Hansen makers mark to the table and a chairs shows that the pieces were made November 1963. The table measures: 79 x 79 cm and has a height of 70 cm.
