ROSEWOOD and TEAK dining chairs - a captivating set of six Scandinavian Modern Erik Buck model 310 chairs, designed ca. 1960 (mentioned in Mobilia in 1961) and produced at Christian Christensens Møbelfabrik in Vamdrup - all gently restored and fitted new cream leather seats (semi-aniline)! The model 310 chair is a beautiful example from the Danish modern era, constructed of solid rosewood frame with curved teak backrest and floating seat. Solid joinery and attention to detail throughout, like the tiny knobs on the side of the backrest - they conceal the screws that secures the backrest. Elegant with soft, organic lines and the curvature of the teak backrest and the rosewood frame supports the human body perfectly, making it a extremely comfortable dining chair. This is a truly gorgeous set of six dining chairs, designed by Erik Buck, ca. 1960 (first mentioned in the Danish design magazine, Mobilia in 1961) - each chair is gently restored and fitted with a new cream leather seat. The seats are upholstered with semi-aniline leather by a true artisan - the leading professional upholsterers in Denmark - specialized in reupholstering iconic Danish design pieces in accordance to the original artisan craftsmanship. These six chairs would add style and class to any dining room - attracting attention with their appealing shape, the blend of rosewood and teak and the absolutely beautiful cream leather seats. The warm rosewood radiates and the lighter teak glows - truly stunning! Condition: All six chairs are in excellent vintage condition with minimal normal signs of usage and age. Gently restored. Marked underneath with Danish Furniture Makers control stamp. Please see the photos! Cleaned, gently restored, fitted with new leather seats.
