About the Item

This Sculptural solid Oregon Pine Dining Chair attributed to famed designer Rainer Daumiller, who had his most known designs produced by Hirtshals Savværk ( sawmill ). Produce in Denmark in the 1970s the Shair shows Rainer Daumillers Soft, Nordic and Organic interpretation of Brutalist Design. The Elegant joints between the signature seat and the four legs of the chair displays the beauty of the high quality Oregon Pine used in the Danish Cabinetmaker workshops in this Golden era of Scandinavian Design. The 7 cm thick Rainer Daumiller signature seat and the soft rounded ends of the legs and backrest displays he’s deep understanding of the wood he has chosen for this chair. The chair has a striking pine wood grain pattern, with a golden glow. It Is in good vintage condition. Dimensions: H: 73 cm W: 55 cm D: 48 cm SH 44 cm
