Set Chippendale Dining Chairs Shoolbred and Co. Antique, 1890
About the Item
A superb quality set of ten Chippendale chairs in mahogany with leather seats.
The chairs are stamped by Shoolbred & Co.
James Shoolbred was established in the 1820 at Tottenham Court Road, London.
Shoolbred was granted a Royal Warrant by the 1880s.
James Shoolbred didn’t survive the financial crisis on 1920s and ceased trading in 1931.
This set dated to around the 1890s and a typical of the this Company’s craftsmanship.
