- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: Armchairs were added to this set. The carvings are not identical but they work very well with the side chairs. They are the same period, country and mahogany with an identical patina. Reupholstered. Repaired: All loose joints have been cleaned, re-glued and clamped. Chairs have been French-polished in the traditional manner by hand. Seats have been re-upholstered. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. French-polish finish with newly upholstered seats in cream-colored cotton twill.
