About the Item

This set is four Danish dining chairs were produced by Findahls Mobelfabrik in the 1950s and 60s. This set has a beech frame and teak backrests with fabric seat covers in colorful teal. The contrast of the teak back and teal fabric is striking. The elegant lines of the legs and curve of the back are iconic of Danish modern design and work exceptionally well with Danish tables. The uphoulstery is likely not original although it does show some age. The color is vibrant but does have some wear and fading. The beauty of this type of chair is that reupholsering is relatively simple if desired.
