About the Item

An absolute design classic among the cantilever chairs - the S33 cantilever chair designed by Mart Stam. A revolutionizing piece of design and a Bauhaus icon. The chairs offered here an an unknown Italian production of the 1970s based on the S33 design, sourced from the original owners. Possibly Fasem Madrid, but no label. Made from bent chromed tubular steel structure in multiple pieces and thick leather seat and backrest. Good production quality. Overall in very good vintage condition with expected signs of age. Surface scratches and marks on the leather, as indicated in the photos. The leather is thick and high quality, so the overall impression in person is better. The four chairs differ in height slightly (1-1.5cm) Structurally good. Price is for the set of four pieces. Will be shipped in four separate packages.
