About the Item
Lovely set of 8 Hollywood Regency style chrome and brass dining chairs attributed to Romeo Rega. These chairs are very well made, super solid and heavy. The chairs have tan suede upholstery that is stained (see close up images). They would look amazing reupholstered. We've decided to list them as-is so you or your Interior Designer to personally select the new materials.
The frames are solid. The brass has some discoloration, patina and some areas of loss (see close up images).
Romeo Rega ( Rome 1925- 1984) was part of a pack of Italian designers combining inventiveness and elegance with strong modernist influence in the 1970`s. A furniture designer and iron forger he opened his first shop in the 1940`s in Trastevere, Rome, mostly designing in wrought iron.
