About the Item

A beautiful set of eight Continental 19th century Biedermeier st. White Ash Burl and ebonized Fruitwood dining chairs. This set of dining chairs with six side chairs and two arm chairs are raised by square tapered gently curved legs below the straight apron. The upholsterer seats are finished with a French nails below the scrolled arms with ball finials and leading to the wonderful Burl wood back supports. Each back support displays an impressive urn shaped central element above a straight stretcher and below the rounded top showcasing the stunning Burl wood grain.
