Set of Eight English Chippendale Mahogany Dining Room Chairs, Circa 1760
About the Item
Set of eight English Chippendale mahogany dining room chairs with a serpentine carved acanthus and ribbon cresting rail, rolled foliage ears, molded edge stiles, ornate carved ribbon splat backs, gadrooned shoes, scrolled acanthus arms, upholstered seats, carved centered floral aprons, and terminating on acanthus carved stylized dolphin feet. Mid-18th century. Chairs can be re-upholstered if desired at an additional cost.
