Set of Eight Louis XIII Style Walnut Upholstered Side Chairs
About the Item
A fine set of Louis XIII style walnut side chairs in floral red velour upholstery with nail finish border, padded backs, arched crest, and nicely turned legs with H form stretchers. The set is French in origin, dating to the 19th century, and is in very good overall condition, with some slight fade to the upholstery in areas, minor surface scratches, imperfections, restorations and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Each chair measures 42.25 in H x 19 in W x 22 in D, with a seat height of 19.5 in H. Ref: 8
