Set Of Four Antique George III Style Dining Chair Frames
About the Item
A fine set of four stained oak side chairs in the George III style. Very well crafted with solid feeling corner blocked frames, good weight and strong carving. The scrolled backs have a decorative pierced back splat and the legs with Laurel leaf carving, scrolls and a stylized Hoof foot. The seats upholstered in a heavy deep Salmon Velvet.
Dimensions: 38 1/2" H x 22" W x 18" D 17 1/2" SH, each
Condition: The set is timeworn with a soft hand and have slight expected frame nicks and faded, stained and worn fabric (reupholstery recommended) which does not detract from the admirable presentation.
