About the Item

Set of four dining chairs, pine, cognac leather, Sweden, 1970s A set of four beautiful and natural dining chairs produced in Sweden in the 1970s. The design of these chairs displays a robust appearance, yet these chairs have a soft and organic touch. The frame of these chairs are simplistic and executed in pine wood, featuring straight lines and a sincere construction. The cognac colored leather seats and backrests provide pleasant comfort. The leather shows an admirable patina that contributes to the authentic look of the chairs. This set is a lovely addition to a dining or living room area, perfect to combine with pieces made in other materials for an authentic mid century modern interior. Please note that these chairs are in good, used condition. As mentioned, the leather shows patina and also some signs of wear and use. In our opinion this adds to the authentic look and feel of these chairs that are made decades ago. A few seams are loose. The wooden frame shows wear and scratches. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
