Rare, exceptional, highly collectable, and ready for installation. This set of 6 chairs (4 side chairs and 2 armchairs) is from the New World Collection designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture. The set is masterfully crafted from solid cherry and found in it's original black hand polished lacquer finish. The original striking cane backs are stunning and sound. The seats have been newly upholstered in a neutral Haute House fabric. Circa 1960s.

The walnut frames, ebonized in a rich jet-black stain, are in excellent original condition showing only minor nicks and one chip on one.
